Tai Soto is the founder of The Open Door Project and brings a powerful combination of academic training, professional experience, and community commitment to her work. Tai holds undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Human Resources, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Relations, equipping her with essential skills in organizational leadership, communication, and operational strategy.

Dedicated to serving others, Tai has been an active volunteer throughout the community, participating in charitable initiatives and 5K fundraising events supporting causes such as lupus foundation, epilepsy, breast cancer awareness, Alzheimer’s research, and other health and family support organizations. Her passion for helping individuals and families facing hardship inspired her to pause her law school studies to fully devote herself to building The Open-Door Project.

Through her leadership, Tai is committed to providing compassionate assistance, essential resources, and hope to those in need. She remains dedicated to expanding The Open-Door Project’s reach and fostering meaningful partnerships that strengthen community support, ensuring every person served feels respected, supported, and empowered toward greater stability and well‑being.
